Pools steps that are designed for above ground swimming pools are sturdy and they will usually accommodate 48” to 54”  pools and decks. Grey colored pool ladders provide better visibility and safety.

Pool ladders have dual handrails and two mounting brackets to fasten the step to the deck. Pool steps on the pool ladder measure approximately 31” wide x 47” high x 32” deep provide a safe and secure way to enter and exit the swimming pool with a maximum capacity of 400 lbs. Use a step pad under the pool step to protect your pool liner. Above ground swimming pool ladders have a tough UV stabilized polyethylene material built into them so that it stands up to damaging exposure to the suns harmful rays. All above ground swimming pool are designed to meet or exceed all NSPI standards for safety and prevent swimmer entrapment and accidental drowning.

Pool Ladder attachment options allow the use of Drop-in style in-pool steps on above ground pools without decks. In-pool steps allow water to continuously flow and chemical distribution around them and throughout the pool to help prevent algae development. Drop-in above ground pool steps require the addition of weight for ballast to prevent the pool steps from floating.

A-frame pool ladders provide a solid entry and exit from your pool and they are adjustable to fit above-ground pools from 48” to 54” in depth. Their top platforms are made of durable skid-resistant poly resin, which helps protect the top pool coping and rails from damage and makes them maintenance-free. The outside portion of an A-frame pool ladder will slide-up and lock preventing unauthorized intrusion into the pool.
